The National Voting in Prison Coalition is a new national coalition formed to advance guaranteed voting rights for justice-involved Americans, including those currently and formerly incarcerated or otherwise impacted by the criminal legal system.

Bicycle Colorado is a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to improving, promoting, and encouraging cycling in Colorado. As an appointed member of the Board of Directors, we share the responsibility for operational and financial oversight. We ensure organizational effectiveness, serve as ambassadors for the organization, and support its continued development.

Volunteer with local non-profit committed to eliminating the overuse of the criminal justice system and advancing community health and safety. Participate in jail-based registration and voting drives as part ofVoting with Conviction initiative. Support text banking efforts to reach potential voters, inform them of the process to register and vote, and invite them to stay in touch with CCJRC initiatives.

Underwent Colorado Voter Registration Drive (VRD) training ahead of the 2020 general election. Training included voter registration, voter ID requirements, form collection, deadlines, and legal compliance. Co-led and facilitated voter registration drive on University of Colorado Denver campus during National Voter Registration Day 2020.

Served as a volunteer community member from Dec. 2017 to Jan. 2019. Was later confirmed by the Denver City Council and appointed by Denver Mayor in Feb. 2019 for a two-year term as a Commissioner (term was extended until Dec. 2021). The DWC's mission is to promote the social, economic, and political quality of life in Denver by supporting women, femmes, and girls in the attainment of equality and full opportunity.

Worked with the nation’s largest school turnaround effort in Far Northeast Denver in the summer of 2014. Assisted in summer learning loss prevention for low-income students. Conducted research to support recruitment of underrepresented educators to the Denver Public Schools district.

Selected as Site Leader by Florida International University's (FIU) Center for Leadership and Service to coordinate service-learning trip, manage site development, logistics, implementation, and completion of project. Oversaw fundraising efforts to meet goal of $5,000 and led ten undergraduate student participants. Assisted camp field teachers and naturalists in educating 5th grade students about outdoor science as an extension of the classroom curriculum in March 2014 (YMCA Camp Campbell, Boulder Creek, CA).
